Portraits from A Fire: Film Screening

The School of Nursing’s Indigenous Nursing Collective and Nursing Undergraduate Society extend a warm invitation to the screening of the award-winning Portraits from a Fire , a film by Trevor Mack . A post-screening Q&A will feature William Lulua, who stars in the film.
Part coming-of-age comedy, part family mystery, the film follows Tyler, a young aspiring filmmaker whose humorous documentation of life in his Tsilhqot’in community takes an unexpected turn as long-buried family truths begin to surface.
